Have you heard about digital planners yet?! I was new to digital planners a few months ago. In fact, I rarely use my work calendar on my computer and always opt for a paper planner before now. There is just something about being able to write onto a calendar, flip through pages, and take notes that has always made me feel more organized. But if you've been a BCBA for even a week, you know just how much paper work you fill out daily. There is so much information to remember and your desk is always covered in to-do list post-it-notes. BCBA's carry their supervision folder with them every where to make sure they are tracking hours correctly. You also carry around a folder to record when you been in session with a child or parent, when your next reports are do, and of course the endless evaluations you need to finish for the insurance companies that are coming up. So now, as a BCBA, your are carrying all of these folders, your tablet to take data, and probably a pocketful of reinforcers. But when your client elopes, you toss of of your paperwork to the ground and go running after the child. And next thing you know, it's 5PM, you're 20 tasks later, and you have to retrace you steps to see when you left that paperwork at 9AM. It has happened to all of us.

Digital planners are PDF or JPEG files that are saved to a note-taking app, like Xodo or GoodNotes. They can be used on any tablet or laptop and promise to make your life easier and more organized! A digital planner has all the sections of a paper planner (monthly calendars, weekly calendars, contacts, notes section) but also all the bells and whistles on being digital: open on any device, no paper to keep track of or recycle, immune to spills and rips. The best part of a digital planner--> ALL YOUR BCBA PAPERWORK BUILT RIGHT IN. You no longer have to keep track of 100 different folders. Your schedule, meetings, supervision trackers, parent training log, resources, to-do lists, client evaluation checklists, report deadlines, certification numbers, CEU tracker, calendar, weekly calendar, and notes are all in one file attached to the cloud! Watch below as I demonstrate how to use a digital tablet on a windows laptop.

Now that you are as excited about digital planning as I am, click the planner to check out the BCBA Ultimate Digital Planner!
